Come to Usedom and go on a bike tour along the sunny golden coast line of the Polish Baltic Sea between Swinoujscie and Gdansk. You will cycle through breathtaking landscapes and experience Pomeranian and Hanseatic culture very close. The nature is marked countless little lakes, intensively green wood land and of course by the endless dunes of the Baltic Sea. In contrast to this quit and harmonic nature you will discover lively and charming seaside resorts and medieval towns and villages of an astonishing architectural elegance. And last but not least you will come to the impressive metropole town of Gdansk. The changeful history, marked by Slavs and Prussians, has created a unique townscape over the centuries. And let’s not forget that the Gdansk Shipyard gained international fame when Solidarity (Solidarnosc) was founded here in September 1980 by Lech Walesa, who later became the first president of Poland in the post-Soviet era.

Day 1: Arrival in Swinoujscie
Individual arrival in Swinoujscie. On request it is also possible to arrive in Gdansk and to go to Swinoujscie with our support van. The transfer starts at noon. After arriving in the hotel you will have enough time to stroll through the beautiful center of Swinoujscie, the biggest town of Usedom Island. In the evening you will meet our driver at the hotel. You will receive your rental bike and all the necessary documents for your journey.
Day 2: Swinoujscie > Wollin National Park > Kamien Pomorski, ~65 km (40 miles)
This first stage leads you to the neighbor island, the Isle of Wollin and straight into the National Park of the same name. You will come to the Baltic seaside resort Miedzyzdroje, where even the last German Emperor, Wilhelm II, used to relax in summer times. Worth a visit here is ‘Paul’s Church and the imposing sea bridge. Today’s final destination is Kamien Pomorski, one of the oldest towns in Pomerania. Don’t miss to discover its charming town center.
Day 3: Kamien Pomorski > Kolobrzeg, ~68 km (42 miles)
You will start today’s stage in Northern direction towards nice woods and sandy beaches. The tour leads you to the old Spa town Kolobrzeg, where, among others, the basilica and the neo-gothic town hall are waiting to be visited by you.
Day 4: Kolobrzeg > Koszalin, ~52 km (32 miles)
Your tour continues eastwards and presents in this area maybe the most spectacular natural impressions of the whole tour. You will pass the seaside resorts Ustronie Morskie and Mielno before riding along a small ground strip between the Baltic Sea and the Jamno lake until you will come to Koszalin, a charming town where you will spend the night.
Day 5: Koszalin > Leba, ~45 km (28 miles)
During today's cycle tour, you will be enchanted by nature, the view of the Baltic Sea and the idyllic idyllic lakes sparkling through the trees. In Darlowo you will visit the castle of the Pomeranian dukes, the renovated market square with the Hansa Fountain and the town hall with the St. Mary's Church. In the late afternoon, transfer to Leba, where you will spend the next two nights.
Day 6: Roundtrip Slowinski National Park, ~20 km (12 miles)
In the morning you will make a bike trip in the middle of the impressive dune landscape of the Slowinski National Park. Sometimes it feels like riding through the desert and the dunes are always moving. A dune can cover a distance of 10 meters in the year. Today’s afternoon is free for you to decide, what to do. Stay on the beach and enjoy the sun and the sound of the breaking waves.
Day 7: Leba > Krokowa, ~58 km (36 miles)
After breakfast another exciting bike stage awaits you. It leads you further eastwards and you soon will arrive in Kashubia, which is inhabited by members of the Kashubian ethnic group which has got their own language and folkloric traditions. Discover the many multi colored small Kashubian villages and experience the authentic daily life of this people by yourself. With all these new impressions you will ride on to finish the stage in Krokowa. Worth a visit here are first of all the Krochow Castle and the museum of regional history.
Day 8: Krokowa > Gdansk, ~58 km (36 miles)
Today’s stage is unfortunately still the last one of your bike holidays along the Polish Baltic Sea. And once again it will be a breathtaking one. You will ride along the small ground strip of Hel peninsula. To the left you can still see the impressive harbor and the town of Gdansk. At the headland of the peninsula you will arrive in the town of Hel. Visit the fishermen’s museum and the fog station here. In the afternoon one of the tour highlights awaits you. By boat you will cruise to Gdansk. The last few meters to your hotel in down town Gdansk will be done by bike.
