Dear Sir or Madam, First of all, please forgive us for not leaving the completed questionnaire at the hotel. In response to your message, we have completed the questionnaire and are sending it to you herewith. The trip was excellently prepared, the travel documents and in particular the route description and signposting were superb. Another big compliment goes to the hotel in Pezenas. We have been on several cycle tours in recent years, but the hotel stood out in a particularly positive light. The fact that the tours weren't just great wasn't down to you or the accommodation, unfortunately there was an extremely strong wind. But with e-bikes it was still possible. So all in all, everything was great. It was our first rally tour and we were impressed by the concept. So please, we are probably planning another cycle tour in the autumn of this year, another rally. Which tour could you recommend? Many thanks and best wishes from Werner K.-H.

Dear Mrs Smets-Stassen, dear Mr Smets, this was our 2nd tour with you (LOIRE in 2022). We had a great holiday and really enjoyed the tour along the Canal du Midi. It had been on our wish list for some time. Our return trip with you, Mr Smets, was very entertaining and gave us further insights into the country, the people and the region. We will be happy to come back and plan and drive more tours with you! I am attaching the questionnaire we completed here. Perhaps one more suggestion: in several cases the luggage arrived late. This meant we were unable to change and explore the destination. That was a great pity. Perhaps you should offer an optional rest day to visit the beautiful towns. Following the Canal du Midi tour, we added the gourmet days in Montpellier and were delighted. The choice of restaurants really suited our tastes - we were welcomed and served very nicely and were able to address any special requests without any problems. We were impressed by the quality of the restaurants. I particularly liked the 1st restaurant in the old swimming pool! Many thanks again to your lady who made all the reservations for us. Dear France Bike team, I don't particularly like questionnaires and prefer to write a few sentences if that's OK with you. We did the individual cycle tour on the Canal du Midi in the week before Easter. The organisation of the trip (length of the stages, stage destinations, choice of hotels, luggage transport, information material) was very good, everything ran smoothly. The staff at the hotels were also very friendly and we always had a safe place to store our bikes. We had our own bikes with us and only booked overnight stays, so I can't add anything about the restaurants and the hire bikes. However, I do have a suggestion regarding the route description. The detailed description (200 metres straight ahead, then left, after 50 metres ...) on several pages is not good for me. I would prefer a more general description, but one that clearly indicates the critical points (e.g. when to change sides or leave the canal altogether). With the help of the tour data in Komoot, we always found our way around in the end. Alternatively, you could also (very old-fashioned) provide travellers with a map of the area with a good scale. I didn't know anything about France-Bike before - we booked the trip through Natours - but I've already had a look at your homepage and your very interesting programme and will definitely recommend you and hopefully go on more cycle tours with you. This is already our fifth cycling tour with you, and we are trilled every time by the quality of your tours and the choice of hotels. Well-kept cities like Angers and Nantes, but also the many small wine villages along the Loire are really picturesque. Dear France Bike Team, we have just returned from a wonderful trip. Almost everything worked out well. One thing not: at the last overnight stay in Avignon, you had given us the restaurant Le Moutardier du Pape for half board. On site, the staff had never heard of France Bike. However, after asking several times, they confirmed a reservation for us.However, no pre-payment had been made. This seemed strange to us, as we had booked half board and only on additional nights in Avignon on 7.5., in Arles on 9.5. and in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer on 11.5. we went to other restaurants at our own expense. In any case, we went out to eat somewhere else. In the end, this means that we probably overpaid for the half-board on 15.5. and that you in turn may have transferred money to the restaurant without them having provided any service. If this is all correct, we ask for a refund.

At the same time, we can recommend Maison Ripert. You may wish to take up the restaurant. It was one of the best (of the very good) restaurants on this trip.

A small remark about the hotels. We were satisfied throughout. However, we particularly liked the Jules César in Arles and even more the La Belle Vie in Saint-Hilaire. The latter is really great.

We were very satisfied with our stay at the wonderful Hotel Mas de la Tour in all points of your questionnaire. On tour 3 we couldn't get along with the description in Roussillon (in the village after parking, after the centre ?). We got completely lost afterwards. But probably the mistake was ours. The other directions are excellent, super! A chain guard would be useful on the bike (oil stains on the right calf every day). No problem with short trousers, annoying with long trousers due to the weather.

Otherwise, we liked the tour and the instructions very much. The landscape is simply a dream. The hotel with its friendly staff was an ideal choic. Many thanks again from Marlis K.

We enjoyed the trip very much and it exceeded our expectations. I would like to briefly list here what led to this:

 - Punctual and friendly welcome by Jochen. Good explanation of the itinerary and the highlights. On the route, everything turned out exactly as he described it to us. So Jochen' good intro ut us in a good mood for the first stage. You just feel good when you realise that people are talking with competence about the route you have ridden yourself.

- Great route guidance. Although we rode with GPS, the arrow markings were very helpful and an important factor in always having the feeling that we were on the right track. It was clear from the number of arrows and the places where they were placed that they were made by a cyclist who had actually ridden the route and thought about where best to place the arrows. Super !!!

-Hotel selection perfect !!! Luggage was always there, reception was always informed, bike parking akways without problems ... that was very good. Because after the stages you just want to arrive and not have to argue at the reception. That was also a feel-good factor on the trip.

- And then, at the end, the hotel with a balcony on the harbour of Marseille ... Fantastic !!!

Well, there would certainly be more to report, but I think this concludes our very positive feedback about your trip.

Hello France Bike, First of all, many thanks for the super organised trip. We were able to enjoy our trip along the Loire without any worries. The sightseeing was also all very good. The very detailed route descriptions helped us a lot in the city and at difficult junctions. However, the written instructions were almost too detailed for us. The bikes were very comfortable, but on both of them the rear lights were not wired at all.All in all, we enjoyed the trip very much and can only recommend your organisation.
