Nobody knows the region of Languedoc better than Prof. Dr. Dr. ce Josef Smets. He studied French culture and history at the universities of Freiburg, Heidelberg and Montpellier where he has been living since 1976. He taught these subjects in Paris, Montpellier and Salzburg in Austria. He has published many papers and books about French history and culture.
