Cycle from Germany to Denmark and come along this classic bicycle tour from Berlin to Copenhagen, from the 'Metropolitan Spree City' to the 'Little Mermaid'. Enjoy the gorgeous Lake District, take a ferry from Rostock and cross the Baltic Sea to get to the white cliffs of Møn Island, and cycle along the coast to downtown Copenhagen.

Day 1: Arrival in Berlin Oranienburg
Travelers are responsible for their own transportation to Oranienburg. Take the Metro (commuter train) from downtown Berlin.
Day 2: Oranienburg > Zehdenick or Fürstenberg, ~35 or 75 km (22-47 miles)
Cycle along the Oder-Havel-Canal to Zehdenick. In the museum park Mildenberg you can experience industrial history in what was once the largest brickworks area in Europe.
Day 3: Zehdenick/ Fürstenberg > Neustrelitz, ~45 or 78 km (28-49 miles)
On the tour to Neustrelitz, you will pass a number of smaller and larger lakes. Along the way, you will come across the legendary Lake Stechlin, which has been immortalized through literature by T. Fontane.Lake District. Your destination is the former royal seat of Neustrelitz. The palace park, the star-shaped market square and the city center bear witness to the history of the Grand Duchy of Strelitz.
Day 4: Neustrelitz > Waren, ~65 km (40 miles)
This stage takes you through the Müritz National Park, the largest national park in Germany. This extensive protected area is a refuge for our endangered flora and fauna. The H. Schliemann Museum in Ankershagen presents the work of Schliemann who discovered Troy. Cycle to the spa town of Waren/Müritz. Visit the Müritzeum in the afternoon (on your own). .
Day 5: Waren > Güstrow, ~45 or 69 km (28-43 miles)
You leave the lively little town of Waren/Müritz, the Nossentiner Heide National Park awaits you with extensive wooded areas and clear lakes. Your reach the Barlach town of Güstrow. A tour of the historic old town, the castle and Ernst Barlach's studio is a must.
Day 6: Güstrow > Rostock / Warnemünde, ~54 or 78 km (34-49 miles)
Cycle along the Bützow-Güstrow-Canal. If you wish, you can take any train to Rostock (at your cost). The overnight stay is in Rostock.
Day 7: Rostock > Nykøbing/Falster, ~38 km (24 miles)
By bike to the Rostock ferry port (approx. 12 km). The ferry crossing to Gedser (incl.) takes approx. 2 hours. On the Danish side you can enjoy the beautiful route over dykes and along the most beautiful beaches of Falster.
Day 8: Nykøbing/Falster > Stege, ~75 km (47 miles)
Cycle along the coast to the old merchant city of Stubbekøbing. It will be worth your while to take a stroll through town before taking the ferry to the island of Bogø where the ferry will make a quick stop. Continue on the ferry to the island of Møn.
Day 9: Stege > Rødvig/Køge, ~75 or 107 km (47-67 miles)
Cross the bridge from Møn to Zealand. Continue north through the coastal landscape. Cottages and manor houses dot the surrounding countryside. It is ~55 km to Fakse and ~75 km to the cliffs at Rødvig. If you spend the night in Rødvig, you have reached your destination. If you spend the night in Køge, you can cut it shorter from both towns by train (on your own). Sporty cyclists can continue cycling and cover the entire distance of approx. 107 km to Køge.
Day 10: Rødvig/Køge > Copenhagen, ~41-75 km (26-47 miles)
If you have spent the night in Rødvig, today's trip takes you along the beaches. From the village church in Højerup you have a unique view of the chalk coast "Stevns Klingt". In Køge you can visit visit the local history museum "Køge Byhistoriske Arkiv". Then continue to Copenhagen. Let yourself be enchanted by the bustling city during a final evening in the Tivoli Garden.
Day 11: Departure from Copenhagen
After breakfast you continue under your own steam, homewards or onwards! We can help you book extra nights.
