France-Bike, your partner for high quality cycling holidays in France invites you to an outstanding bike tour through prehistoric times. The Périgord is worth a visit. It has not only enchanting medieval villages, innumerable castles and beautiful landscapes, it is the region of the world where the most prehistoric grottos and the most famous cave-paintings are to be found, first and foremost Lascaux (World Heritage Site). The two rivers Dordogne and Vézère are the heart of this very cultural region, whose culinary products make the French hearts miss a beat. For example the nearly unaffordable queen of the ‘haute cuisine’, the black truffles of the Périgord. In short: We are convinced that this bike trip will elate you!
