A bike ride starts in the active resort and leads eastwards across Wejsuny, an old East Prussian village with a pretty church in religious style and beautiful old wooden houses, some of which are over 100 years old. One of them remained as a home office. Continue to the viewpoint "Bärenwinkel" on Lake Spirding, where there is a beautiful view of the passing sailboats and the island devil Werder. According to legend, evil spirits will live there, actually, Frederick the Great once built a fort here, of which today still bear witness to a few stones. From here you’re riding to Pisz with its gothic town-hall and all the decorated middle-class houses, which are surrounding the market place. Take the time to visit the museum in Pisz, where you’ll get interesting knowledge about the nature of the Masuria Lake District. In Pizs you’ll even find the highest church of Masuria. Through the fields and romantic villages you’ll come to Wilkasy, where the MS Classic Lady is waiting for you.

Their houses and the wooden church with its golden onion dome are the signs of the Russian cultural heritage which was left here by this religious group. The huge Piska Forest is crossed by the Kruttina, a beautiful small river with lots of fishes and crabs. A tour with a little boat on this river is always a highlight of a journey through Masuria. You start this tour in Kruttinen, a small village where you can buy souvenirs and arts and crafts of the Masuria Lake District. It is very attractive to take a little break in one of the small restaurants, which are serving fishes they’ve been fishing some minutes before. You should choose a restaurant with a terrace on the river to enjoy this inimitable nature. Over Galkowo with its horse breeding farm and its former forester’s house, which today is a nostalgic restaurant you’ll come to Piaski and to the landing place of the MS Classic Lady.
