This is the true discovery of Beaune area in Burgundy. Every day you enjoy a bike tour around Beaune which allow you to explore the entire region at your own pace whether it’s the discovery of culture, nature or human heritage. You will experience the historical sites such as Hôtel-Dieu (Hospices de Beaune), Cîteaux Abbey, or natural sites such as small mountains, the flat natural area of Saône river, the cascade of Bout du Monde, or the Ouche valley … and to finish with the vineyard landscapes of the Côte de Beaune and its wine making villages: Pommard, Santenay, Chassagne & Puligny Montrachet, Meursault, to name a few.

Day 1: Arrival in Beaune
Arrival in Beaune. Delivery of all the documents necessary to succeed the tour (road book, maps,…).
Day 2: Beaune > Cotes de Beaune, ~30 km (19 miles)
Loop ride around the Cotes de Beaune area, allowing you to visit famous vineyards such as Pommard, Meursault, Chassagne & Puligny Montrachet. You will find many opportunities to taste and purchase products along the way.
Day 3: Beaune > Cotes de Beaune La Rochepot, ~41 km (26 miles)
This itinerary includes the first day ride + Rochepot, Baubigny You will visit the village of La Rochepot and its magnificent château. You will then return to Beaune.
Day 4: Beaune > Nuits Saint Georges > Beaune, ~58 km (36 miles)
Cycle from Beaune towards Nuits Saint Georges to discover the surrounding vineyards. You'll return back to Beaune via an alternative route. Extra riding is possible to cycle on gentle rolling roads to Clos Vougeot, one of the largest single vineyards in Burgundy producing grand cru wines. Possibility to shorten the ride by the transfer by train back to Beaune.
Day 5: Beaune > Chateauneuf > Beaune, ~75 km (47 miles)
Ride to Chateauneuf en Auxois, a beautifully quaint French wine country village over-looking the vineyard land of the Cote d’Or and the Bourgogne Canal and with its Castle known as one of Burgundys jewels of medieval architecture. This ride is a little bit more challenging due to the distance, but definitely worth it!
Day 6: Beaune discovery
This day is to explore the town of Beaune and some of its treasures including the Hotel Dieu (hospices) or Mustard Mill ("Moutarderie"), and a choice of many cellars welcoming for the wine tasting, it’s up to you to choose.
Day 7: Beaune - Savigny les Beaune - Beaune, ~33 km (21 miles)
This itinerary will take you towards Savigny les Beaune, a small village between the Corton Mountain and Beaune. Savigny is part of a very old vineyards which used to belong to the local Dukes and Abbeys. Its 14th C. Castle overlooks a magnificent property of 12 hectares, crossed by a river, originally fed the moats of the old fortress. It houses nowadays 4 atypical museums: the race car Abarth museum, the aviation one, the motorcycle one, and of course the wine museum.
