Make a bike tour and discover the breathtaking countryside of Mallorca in Spain.
Submit to the charm of Mallorca. Listen to the whisper of wind in the grass, to the song of cicadas and the silent turning of the wind wheels. Up and down you cycle through the ever varying landscape in the north and the center of Majorca. And you are staying at a traditional finca in Campanet.
Day 1: Arrival in Campanet
Arrive individually at your charming 4**** finca ‘Monnaber Nou’. Your welcome briefing will take place in the early evening.
Day 2: Pollenca > Alcudia > S’Albufera, ~55 km
You’re riding to the northern coast and cycle through a bird sanctuary to the bay of Pollenca (Roman harbor). Along the coast you cycle to Alcudia (oldest town of the island) and back.
Day 3: Ride to Lluc Abbey, ~55 km
The stage leads again to Pollenca and further on to Lluc Abbey. Your way back leads you over Caimari to your charming finca in Campagnet.
Day 4: Vineyard tour~ 40 km
Today we travel by bus to the wine region of region of Mallorca (where vine has been cultivated since the conquest by Jaumes I in 1229). From Santa Maria the tour leads you along the foothills of the Tramuntana Mountains with their grey limestone along small side paths („camis„) and past typical Mallorcan stone walls between grapevines, olive groves and almond trees to Caimari, where the Pa amb Oli dinner awaits you. After this refreshment you ride back to Campanet.
Day 5: Campanet > Manacor > Campanet, ~60 km
Take the bus to Manacor, the city of pearls. On your road back to Campanet you will see plenty of windmills. You will visit the medieval market of Sineu and LLubi where Mallorcan caperns are grown.
Day 6: Relaxation
Your are free to enjoy the wellness area, a massage or explore the surroundings on your own.
Day 8: Departure
