Therefore, we can't imagine to propose travels without this nice and so typical french reality. On our tours, you'll dine in good, or in french terms: in gastronomic restaurants, not rarely outside of the hotels. And sometime even in 1-Michelin-Star restaurants.
Some of our tours are higher than high in gastronomic terms. Gourmet-Days in Montpellier, Provence - Cook, Taste, Ride or, last but not least, our kingsize tours: Provence de Luxe, Loire de Luxe and Alsace de Luxe!
But don't worry, all of our tours have an extremely good quality.
Discover the extreme variety of the french, provencial, languedocian, catalan or alsatian cuisine. You must know that the meals of the tours in Cat. B are already pretty good, but those in Cat. A are still better. And we don't speak about those of our Gourmet days in Montpellier and of our Provence de Luxe tour!
It's impossible for us to evoke all the french specialities - no, no, you don't need to eat frogs! But you can be sure to many specialities prepared in our carefully selected restaurants. They use only and exclusively fresh products from the daily market and according to the season.
France-Bike and the french cuisine invite you to come and to enjoy the life!
And the wines!
At least and finally: a good meal needs an excellent drink. No, not Coca Cola! What you should know: our tours are situated in the greatest vineyard of the world: Provence, Languedoc and Roussillon - the mediterranean area from the Rhone river to the spanish border.
What's about a dark red wine of the Côtes du Rhône Villages from Gigondas or from the best vineyard, Châteauneuf-du-Pape? Or a fresh and fruity Rosé de Provence. The Languedoc has very good wines too: red wine from Faugères, St. Chinian or Minerve, white wine from Pinet or La Clape. And further to the South, you can taste the excellent red wines of the Corbières or the Côtes du Roussillon Villages.
Special and surprising white wines are the 'Muscat Sec' and the 'Viognier' which have a lot of success since some years.
And what a delight to drink the so typical aperitifs, the sweet wines called Muscat of Beaume de Venise, Lunel, Mireval, Frontignan, Rivesaltes, Banyuls and other villages along the Mediterranean coast.
